Experimental Plant-Based Printing

In this course, students learn photography darkroom techniques with low toxicity chemistries, eco and plant-based materials in photography. We will learn different types of making photographs using different types of plants, fruits and vegetables using a technique called anthotype. We will also print directly on the leaves using chlorophyll printing. As an addition, students will also learn how to make floral prints on fabric and paper.
