I grew up in Myanmar, where I spent the entire part of my childhood under the authority of the Myanmar Military Regime known as Dictatorship. In Myanmar, 80% of the people who have a good living and have a filthy amount of money are Military Juntas and their associations which are widely known as Crony families. They take control of everything in entire country including Politics, Education, Economics, Entertainment and Every Possible field and consume the 80% of country's resources living in luxurious homes and compounds, shopping expensive brands, enjoying luxurious lifestyle abusing money and power while majority of the citizens had to struggle their lives very difficulty on daily basis. Myanmar people are known as the people who can still smile amid many troubles but the reality of life of the normal people in Myanmar is somewhat bitter because it was involuntary but mandatory to deal with those military associates just for the sake of job, income, status or so called opportunities.

Because of Abuse of Money and Power, I am very familiar with living my life as not having the freedom to think or express, not having the courage to speak out much about human rights and what I truly want in my mind with lack of safety, not being able to even think freely as a human being amid bullying and judgements not only just because of Myanmar military Dictatorship but also because of controls and restrictions of somewhat patriarchal culture and traditions. Because only a certain layer of so called crony elite society is full of money and having all kinds of opportunities, normal citizens of Myanmar have a very bad living experience having to deal with very low quality education and lifestyles, poor economy and livelihood besides being abused by Military Juntas and so called Crony society. Even though Burmese are known as very generous smiling people in the world, the majority have hidden scars in the mind starting from childhood to adult lives that I sometimes feel like we have to heal life long.

It was very hopeful in the past few years when the temporary Democracy was given to Daw Aung San Su Kyi and the winning party NLD but even after that, the democratic development in Myanmar was very slow . Many opportunities are still being controlled by military coup and crony society where millions of normal citizens and generations of Myanmar have to work their asses off from a very young age just to earn a couple of dollars as daily wage which nobody really cares.

In Feb 1, 2021, The Military Coup took over the entire country and since then the bunch of abusive power maniac manipulative psychopaths and their armed gangs have murdered over 800 people and arrested over 4000 people, destroying the entire nation, bullying, assaulting, harassing, stalking and threatening every aspect of Myanmar people and it's getting worse and worse everyday whether inside or outside the country and we have to find our ways to deal with this stress and trauma and to keep ourselves sane.

I am doing this protest because Myanmar cannot go back to Military Dictatorship.

I am doing this protest because I don't want the next generation of Myanmar to suffer living under this kind of authority.

I am doing this protest because I had a chance to rebel against them but I don't want to regret that I didn't.

The Hopes and Souls of normal Myanmar people are what Military Coup is Destroying. The only way to stop the Abuse of Money and Power is to Destroy the Attack and system of the military Dictatorship to Myanmar.

As an artist, the most effective way of protesting against such kind of Evilness is to make Art.
So, I am selling the limited edition Giclee Art Prints of original Collodion plates I made a while ago to help raise funds for the Victims of Abuse from the Myanmar Military Coup.
